Contrast/Brightness/Gamma adjustment software

When I play certain games like CS, the screen seems to automatically get darker when the game is in full screen, I used to use Rage3D to adjust this, but for some reason it doesn't seem to work anymore, does anyone know any good video adjustment software that's reliable?
