The shot!
Or, don't worry about it, and if you find out she's pregnant just push her down the stairs once or twice.

You can get snipped. And isn't there a patch alternative to the pill?

IUD. Was even recommended to me by and MD friend of mine (his wife uses one). No problems whatsoever.

I told my step daughter that.
She looked at me funny and said that the girl could still bend over and get hit from behind.

the patch is what i use and have been using for years since it came out, but its along the same lines as the Pill.

Go to the planned parenthood website, there are alot of helpful resources for different choices. There are risks with all methods but some of the more severe are with the shot and the implant.

however, you two need to research together to find something that works for both of you. There are a lot of options that are hormonal and nonhormonal, you two need to decide what will work best!

Welcome to parenthood.
The woman's a stone-face liar. Let's not even talk about that. I pulled out of her really early on that one.

I've used the pill (6 years), Norplant (3 years) and Depo-Provera (2 or 3 years). I didn't like the pill because it was hard to be strict about it. I loved Norplant and Depo-Provera because they eliminated periods. Norplant required surgeries to put in and remove, and I had painful keloid scars afterward, so I probably wouldn't do it again, but it was really nice to have it done with once and not have to think about it at all. Depo wasn't bad because I only had to have a small shot every few months. The patch sounds like a good option to me as well, but I've never used it. Don't have to use anything anymore, spouse got snipped.

Hehe, my mom had an IUD in when I was conceived...that may explain some things about my personality ;)

With the patch, you have to be careful. My wife tried it for a while, and had most of the common side effects. I don't really remember what they were, since it has been some time ago.

my fiancee uses the ring.
she used to use the pill but didn't like remembering to take it at a specific time.
used the patch but it gave her a big rash.
the ring is great but i can feel it if you catch my drift. it kinda hurts me so we usually take it out.

Get snipped without telling her. Then convince her to try the pullout method, and make a very good show of screwing it up. Get frightened, act nervous for the next few weeks, everything.

Then when she's about ready to crack, tell her you had a vasectomy three months ago.
