Soon as I power the computer on I am getting an infinite number of long beeps. Doesn't go to BIOS screen or anything. Manual says its the RAM, but researching other sites says it could also be the board, PSU or CPU. This computer is only 2.5 years old and I haven't touched in 2.5 months, which the last time I used it worked 100% fine. I rechecked all the connections and everything seems to be connected. Any thoughts?

Once again, what motherboard do you have? I can't tell you what the beep codes mean unless I know.

I can't find any specific info about the beep codes for that Gateway, you should ask Gateway customer support.

In your case the long beeps probably also are referring to the memory, but I don't know for sure since I can't find definitive info. It could be bad memory, no memory, or bad memory controller or RAM slots on the motherboard.
