The questions may appear simple, easy, brainless, BUT, up until last night, the most money someone won was 80k.

Some of the questions aren't so easy. Like the OP, remembering which product came out first 30 years ago? Without access to google?

The questions are not 180 IQ hard etc. This show you have to be smart with the cash. If you are not 100% sure, you need to split the money up. Even I am have gotten plenty wrong when I was over confident.

I was lmao at this one. She was saying that he was teaching her craps in Vegas, yet he doesn't know the dice odds?

That, my friends, is how Vegas was built.

The dice odds are whatever the loaded dice the house uses are set for.

THAT, my little know-it-all-friends, is how Vegas was built.

j/k

The last question is only 2 drops, so its 50/50. I have only seen the one couple make the final question, that was last night. I knew that answer 100% without a doubt. They might make the final question easier than the others, but I will have to watch more to be sure about that. Last nights final question was whose films have made more money in the U.S box office, or something like that.

Matt Damon
Ben Affleck

Pretty easy question.

Yeah, guaranteed if 500k+ is on the line for the final question they will make it harder.

Fortunately game shows have negligible production costs (even counting the pittance they give out) so you don't need many viewers.
That is kind of my point. They'd probably increase profit margins by giving out more money to more contestants.

1 problem is you KNOW if they get the right answer and move on. Its a 1 hour show and only 1 couple. So if it started at 9pm and ends at 10pm and its 9:30 you know they will carry at least some money forward. But if its 9:57 you are at the ending no matter where you are at.

I wish they make it like "Who wants to be a millionaire" show and have others waiting to come on. I want to see the idiots that miss the 1st question with all on 1 answer.

They should still sue FOX.

Odds are that FOX would settle for more money then they would walk away with if they played the show again.

They are better off suing the show producers as fox does not produce the show.

Fox probably told the production company to bring them back. Seeing as how the whole went crazy on the internet. They saw it as potential gain in ratings.

they would be suing the wrong people. they need to sue the producers of the show. but then again fox has deeper pockets.

i also wouldn't expect the show to be on the air if they make a mistake again. people tend to lose faith in game shows if they think they are staged or rigging the competition.

Like those Indian casinos when they have machines "malfunction"?

Doubt it. Its one of these weird things that required deep research.

My bet the production team just called up 3m and asked them, whoever answered just went with the company line of being sold nationally in 1980. They are doing there whole 30 year anniversary right now.

Jeopardy has survived errors though they are a much more fast paced show that sometimes mistakes are not caught right away.

Some info from last nights show. A couple chose sports cause the husband knows a lot about them. He was pretty sure of himself. Anyhow the 4 answers were something along the lines of

One made by Anheuser Busch
One made by Dom Perignon
One made by a famous soft drink maker
One made by a cow

The question was something like, The winner of the Indy 500 celebrate the win by traditionally drinking what?

This was the FIRST question, the couple put all of the 1 mill on Dom Perignon. It was funny since I knew they were going to lose it all. But they just kept rationalizing why it was Champagne, when people win and celebrate that's what they drink. The correct drink is milk, for those that didn't know.
