We have good debates (sometimes) on this forum. We have facts, we have figures, we have emotional pleas, etc. We do it 24 hours a day...amongst ourselves. What I think we forget is: we don't get a vote. But there are people who do, and they're paid good money to listen to us when we talk to them.
Every person who has posted in any of the MANY MANY MANY health care debate threads we've had should just take a moment and contact their representatives. Contact your Congressmen, your Senators, and the President. Just tell them how you fell, and what you'd like them to do about it. That's their job folks.
YOUR job is to be a part of the system by contacting them. Your civic duty doesn't begin and end at the ballot box. Quit talking to us, and start talking to THEM! I just did...it took 10 minutes. 10 Minutes on a computer from home in my shorts, and I get to call myself a part of the American process.
