About 2 weeks for me. It was rough at first - I sometimes took 10-15 minutes to get them both in. Now it's less than 30 seconds to be good to go.

I first tried when I was about 13. Couldn't do it. Waited a year, now it's a breeze. Takes about 3 seconds per contact.

you will get the hang of it soon and it will be no biggie

on a side note, some contact lenses (especially new ones from certain manufacturers) are so "slimy" it's extremely difficult to get them off your eye although it is easy getting them on
