My wife just went to an eye doctor and got the prescription for daily wear contact lens.
Her eye's are screwed up.. and needs toric lenses..
The one's she is using is extended wear..(she can wear it for 2 weeks and goes into the trash).
Here is her prescription..
right left
sph -4.75 -4
cyl -.75 -.75
axis 180 180
BC 8.5 8.5
She is currently using B & L lens..
I'd figure that it's cheaper to order it through the internet, but it's little hard to do.
Some doesn't even give you the option for BC.
The descriptions on the toric lenses are so vague, I'm not sure if they are extended wear or not.
I would also guess that they have to contact the doctor to verify the prescription.
Anyone know anything about the Toric lenses? Are they extended wear? Why are they so much more expensive than the regular lenses?
