Constructicons & Devastator confirmed in Transformers 2

I used to have the devastator when I was a kid. Damn I wonder if they'll have Dinobots to battle the devastator in this movie.

heh.. I loved the Constructicons and of course Devastator as a kid but man..he used to always fall apart with even the slightest touch.

Although the Dinobots do not appear in the live-action film, a video on the Sector 7 website showed Grimlock rampaging through a construction site, possibly a means to get fans excited about the film. The Dinobots have been mentioned as potential characters for the sequel to the live-action film as a band of Transformers who landed on Earth eons ago, thus their dinosaur forms. The website, www.seibertron.com had given fans the code to access the Sector 7 (www.sectorseven.org) website which is DECEPTIBOT in capital letters. The other password is the word black. When asked if the Dinobots would appear in Transformers sequel Michael Bay said "No", but said there will be more Cybertronian species. However, some fans find it hard to believe due to Bay's disinformation campaign. However, Roberto Orci recently confirmed that the Dinobots are not in the sequel, describing them as being too difficult to portray onscreen.

crap...I thought that the construction site deal with Grimlock would have been a lead in to this now that the constructicons are coming to the picture.

Looks like the dynobots are a no-go at all at this point. Really don't get the 'too difficult' to portray on screen with CGI and all that.

werent the dinobots indestruble in dino form? (except the terrdatlye)

and isnt devastator like 3x the size of Optimus prime? (the dinobots dont merge into one big creature in the cartoon.)

I found some of my old Transformers at my parent's house recently. Could only find one Constructicon of my five though and parts of others (like Ultra Magnus) were missing. I was pleased to Jetfire still in pretty darn good shape. Brought him back home and he's turned into my son's favorite Transformer.

No they could be hurt.

The Dinobots don't merge. If they did they would be bigger than Devastator. So they have added a Constructicon for Revenge of the Fallen (7 instead of 6). This thing will be huge since Bay isn't allowing for the Transformers to change size like they did in the cartoon. I just wonder how they are going to ignore the huge error in the first movie where Devastator (the tank) went to the final battle.

Maybe in this movie, they'll try making it possible to SEE the transformers, rather than a mix mash of overcomplicated parts coupled with poor lighting. I swear, it was like looking at a Magic Eye, trying to decipher what I was looking at.
