It was a dirty Wednesday, late in October. The Exitron 9000 had been working fine through most of the day; Suddenly, there was a loud bang, Fire spewed out of the stacks, limbs were being dismembered, toxic acid was filling the air. In an act of desperation, Benny lept to the nearest emergency phone. Through the static, the operator could make out the the gargled sentence "Quick ... ll .. Cogman ...".
There was no time to lose. Heroically, the man, known only as "Cogman", speed to the factory. With a lightning like reflexes he quickly replaced the worn parts with shiny new cogs.
Cogman saved several lives that day. Without waiting for thanks, he sped off into the distance. Always waiting for a call; Always there to fix a broken cog.
