Hello,
I just installed Prince of Persia sands of time and when i load it up, the monitor goes off and wont let me turn it back on. It doesn't let me do anything and i have to restart my pc every time this happens.

It's very weird because the pc keeps running like nothing happened but i can't get my monitor back unless i manually restart the pc.

I reinstalled the driver for my video card and the problem still persists.
Is my monitor causing this problem? Or could it be the video card.
 
Did you try uninstalling the game, reinstalling it and then installing any available patches?
 
Sounds like the game may be switching to a full-screen resolution that your monitor doesn't support. Alternatively, does the monitor go into "power-save" mode (if it's capable)? That can often indicate a video-driver crash.
