I currently have a small subscription to Giganews through my ISP... and I noticed that if I queued up a huge amount of files, it wouldn't disconnect me, even if I crossed my bandwith limit.
So, I was wondering if anyone knew of a program that I could run... that would constantly keep a small connection with the newsgroup server so I could stay "active" as long as my computer remained on? (i realize it'd be impossible to keep the connection live if my computer turned off)
It'd be pretty useful, as now... I end up just queueing up anything I can imagine at one time... and just deleting them afterwards...
