I have no idea what's going on but IE is freezing up on me virtually every time I start it up. More often than not, I can get my homepage (CNN.com) to load up fine. And I can often access URL's that are in my dropdown box. But when I try to type in a site and go to it, or if I use my google toolbar to pull up a search, it freezes up. When I click to "X" out, I get the "Send Error Report to Microsoft" box. I haven't really done/installed anything lately that I haven't always used other than a motherboard monitor app but I think I was getting the browser freeze ups prior to that.
And I am getting the same problem with Firefox so I know it's not related directly to IE.
Any ideas? As far as I know, I'm virus free and running Windows 2000 Pro.
