As I recall, the Illuminati lady who used to come on campus and preach that the world was being run by a select group of reptilian aliens, and that their tools of domination included such gems as using contrails (sorry, "chemtrails") to disperse mind-control drugs, said similar things.

So did the LaRouche people.

IMHO, any conspiracy big, secret, highly-placed, and organized enough to pull off that kind of stuff is clearly too powerful for a bunch of yahoos on the internet to stop anyway...
