Conspiracy theory

znaps

Senior member
What if the CIA had Rafik Hariri killed to escalate tensions with Syria in the hope of bringing freedom to that country? Would you put it past some of the current administration members?

You are stupid - both of you. All signs point to Syria. Well, unless Al Jazeera is your news of choice, which I suspect for utter and complete morons like you - it may be.

Spoken like a YABA...

Feel free to post all these 'signs.' So far all I've heard is that a Lebanese mob is blaming Syria for the bombing. And before you try, a quote from Kindasleazy Rice means nothing.

So you think it's absurd...fine.

Stranger things have happened though.

The nutcases are out in droves. Their racist mentality leads them to conclude that an Arab or Muslim is uncapable of commiting such a crime due to the complications involved.
The simple answer is to blame the Americans or the Israelis every single time something happens since it is incomprehensible to them that a Muslim is capable of doing anything right. These "news sources" and conspiracy theorist made the same claims after 9/11 and will continue to do so every single time something happens in the middle east.

I'm not blaming anyone. I want to see reasons why the CIA would or would not have considered destabilizing relations between Syria and Lebanon. They're quite capable of doing something like this.

If you want to add something to support your view that they couldn't have done it, go ahead. All I've seen so far are insults.

LOL , you post that nonsense and then have the nerve to call others "Nutcases"?

I could post all the proof in the world and it would still bounce right off of your thick skull. Then you would refute with Al Jazeera, dance around and act like you have saved the day from the manace known as - THE ONLY REALLY FREE NATION IN THE WORLD. We are sooooooooo EVIL, America looks to kill everyone. We are the EVIL EMPIRE.

Did you notice that this guy was pretty much anti Syrian. No one mentioned that he was planning on running for office again, and Syria was not happy about the chance of losing their stooge. Since they couldn't get Carter to oversee the election and guarantee a Syrian win they decided to kill him. Pretty simple. It is not like this would be a new tactic for Syria to employ. They have been pretty much a world leader in the murder industry for quite some time.

No, your post is stipud. 0% analysys, 0% discussion, 100% personal attack.

Remind me again... How many Muslim's has the US saved in the last 15 years??? How many has the rest of the world looked to help??? How many have the leaders of the Middle East helped???

Hmm, we must really be pure evil. As a matter of fact, I am sure that Bush is a reincarnated Hitler, Rumsfeld is Himler, and Rice is probably Eichman. What are the odds that these three Nazi's would be reincarnated at the same time, in the same nation, and be leaders? What luck we have here. Long live the fourth Reich. I just find it odd now that Hitler and crew seem to like the Jews and are actually helping them. This must stem from hidden feelings of regret that they have from the third Reich.

Huh, a lot like your post.

By the way, your post is way more stupid than my post. At least I had more than one sentence, and they were complete thoughts.

I could post all the proof in the world and it would still bounce right off of your thick skull.

Translation: I have nothing to back up my beliefs other than personal opinion and speculation and only came here to insult those who have opinions that differ from mine.
(Again, spoken like a YABA. Way to go brainiac... *golf clap*)

Anyone else have anything to go on? This moron needs help.

What evidence leads to Syria?

...

...

...

What motive does Syria have? Maybe they are masochist and want to provide an excuse to the Bush administration to invade them? That's like Saddam Hussein prior to the invasion of Iraq announcing: "Yes, I am building a nuclear weapon and it will be done in 3 months! When it's done I will nuke Israel! Muahahaha!"

USe common sense, it usually prevails.

First of all, Syria is already on our sh*tlist, so unless there is irrefutable evidence that they committed this crime the US won't be able to do anything. Plausible deniability, it will be hard to prove that top level members of the Syrian government were involved. It is very possible that they funded this operation or have operatives within Lebanon right now that are working to strengthen Syrian interests, which may include directions to eliminate public officials that seek to weaken their alliance within Lebanon.
Do you really think Assad cares what the world thinks if he knows these operations can not be directly linked to him? He can control his people through the state controlled media by throwing conspiracy theories that Isreal and the US are to blame. We are not talking about a military strike using Syrian equipment, we are talking about a few individuals that carried out an assassination in a country marked by civil strife. I'm sure the CIA has some inside information, the statement they made towards Syria leads me to conclude that they have the inside scoop on those that were responsible for this.

Thanks for the ad hom attack. I thought personal flames weren't tolerated. 😕

:cookie:

Keep in mind that myself and others merely wanted to be clued in to "all the evidence" that idiot here brought up. That does not mean we hate the US and/or are Syrian sympathizers, as much as that might dismay trollboy.
Less ad hom and more substance would do a lot for irwincur to be taken seriously, till then he's just another beligerent closeminded fool taken to repeating talking points and one-liners.

If you have proof, then show it. Assuming you know more than anyone else, or that you know their political views, makes you an ass - not an informed commentator.

Why go through the bother?

If Bush wants to take Syria there isnt much anybody can do about it.
Yes there is. The American Public could prevent it and they probably would as they won't have their judgement clouded from 9/11 like they did when they supported the Dub's excellent adventure into Iraq.

So it boils down to you admitting there is no evidence, and you are even predicting that there never will be evidence linking Syria to this, yet you do not rescind your rediculous statement: " All signs point to Syria". If you had any credibility when you started, you just lost it.

You think? Even now a large percentage of Americans are questioning our actions in Iraq, you actually believe that the Dub would be able to garner the support for any actions against Syria? Unless they attack us (our troops) I don't see it happening. The Dub isn't that popular and would be hard pressed to get the support he needed in light of the debacle in Iraq and his misleading the Public into supporting the invasion.

That's the sort of argument NOBODY should be using post-Iraq. Remember Colin Powell's now infamous statement on the intelligence info they had on Iraq's WMD?

Do you know how to read?? Where did I say that "All signs point to Syria".. Please enlighten me

I think you underestimate some peoples resolve in this war. Also I dont believe Bush would require the CIA to orchestrate this assasination just so they can pull their ambassador from Syria. Even if they invaded they wouldnt need to go through this huge ordeal.
