It's not like we can't imagine Elon doing something dangerously planned and half baked and he likes a big provocative action!
I could totally see him going "Yeah! Let's see 2025 in by launching a bunch of fireworks from the back of a Cybertruck outside a Trump venue! FUCK YEAH! 2025! WE'RE BACK BABY!"
 
Too much of life is wasted sitting on a plane with seat belt on in queue waiting for the delayed planes to take off so you can get on the runway!
 
Maybe Australia is going about things correctly banning all cell phones/ tablets/ laptops/ social media for kids under 16 to allow their minds to develop normally before social media takes a hold of them!

I didn't disagree with the principle but it would be impossible to enforce that.
 
I'm seriously wondering if Elonia Muck, Drump, Peter Thief have major money bet on America going tits up by trying to invade Canada, Greenland, Panama, Iran at the same time as China is trying to take Taiwan and Russia is trying to take Ukraine.

Lost more than a decade old online friendship with a woman because she was like, US is evil and everything you hear against Russia is just US propaganda and Putin is brave enough to stand up to the West's bullying and similar crap. When she ran out of arguments, she stopped responding and never heard from her again.

About 15 years ago.. I met a American guy in Cebu who wanted to retire there. He finally said fuck it after COVID in the US and moved there permanently.

He said he constantly gets passive aggressive texts from an old girlfriend who says.. "Are you still happy you gave up on saving America from Demonrats for a sex life with cheap whores?"

He and I both commented.. when things get that simple.. the simple answer is yes!

I mean that is what it promises - to harness humanity's innate moral weaknesses and direct them towards productive ends. It's a legitimate effort and to be taken seriously in that sense. It's just that in practice it doesn't seem to deliver as advertised. Those moral failings turn out to be far more difficult to harness and constrain than has been claimed.

KY voted to allow Medical MJ. I do not use it. Just to get that out of the way.
So I asked her, if you got a MMJ card, where would you be able to get it dispensed at? ( We are RURAL, I mean like 2 hours to closest level of almost civilization) I was serious, where would you get it filled??

Y'all would never guess what she came back at me with.

In KY if you get MMJ you cannot own a gun.
In KY you can consume alcohol and own a gun. FACEPALM.

I was actually floored because I read the ballots, and that was not on them.

I was always the one that moved on and never talked or met with them again.

I had one, I told to stop the car, about 3 miles from where I was living, I got out and walked home. Never spoke to that one again. (Apparently my current wife was contacted by said person, asking if I was with my current wife. She said yea Bitch don't try contacting again) What I was told anyway. I wouldn't have replied even if I was the one contacted.
