You guys are looking at it all wrong. It wasn't staged, they replaced Turmp. Possibly just his head. Turmp struggling with bottles of water and navigating stairs and ramps isn't age, its robot. The reason Turmp seems to get stuck on repeat is because that is essentially what is happening, it can only regurgitate so many phrases (its basically a Teddy Ruxpin), and because its Republicans doing the programming they leave in some code by accident which is why it randomly brings up something from like weeks, months, or years back and then just spouts all the same shit it did back then.
It doesn't really matter when, its very obvious Turmp has been compromised by Russia. Most likely they were manipulating him because they were manipulating a lot of wealthy people. When was it that the Russian mob moved into Turmp Tower? Honestly, I don't think Russia valued him until he started smashing the shit out of the Republicants in 2015/2016. I think they'd already compromised many people in the GOP or were working towards something else and then Turmp fucked up their plan (that was why Republicans were afraid of Turmp, they thought he'd expose all their shit, and then of course once they had whatever kompromat they needed they fell in line behind him). Russia knows he's crazier than a shit house rat, which is why they really hadn't attempted to use him til the opportunity necessitated it.

I still think that MT/OH senate seats are fools gold for GQP. Both of those incumbents are very much more inline with their constituents than the random "unnamed D" candidate. Also more weird shit keeps coming out about stolen valor Sheehy. That's gonna bite him for at least a few points.

There's a weird paradox in life in that the ability to claim any sort of disadvantaged status is dependent on having a degree of power and privilege. Such claims to disadvantage can then be segued into a form of power.
Essentially, the more privilege you have the greater your capacity to claim that you are disadvantaged. Because it's those with power and privilege who have the power to define what privilege is.
Maybe the basic problem is that addressing any sort of injustice requires power, and power by its very nature creates fresh forms of injustice, so a truly egalitarian society is impossible? Or am I just being more verbose in repeating the standard parental mantra of '_life_ isn't fair'?
It's why 'identity politics' is a dead end, and the real aim of leftist politics - if it's viable at all, which I'm dubious that it is - should be equality of outcome, not the chimera of 'equality of opportunity' (that liberals - themselves a group primarily concerned with defending their own privileges - bang on about).
