I think extraterrestrial beings are way too limited by your typical human imagination.

I refuse to believe aliens have the perfect humanoid form with arms, legs, torso, head, etc. They could be immensely large, gaseous in form, or whatever crazy state it could be in.

It doesn't have to be limited to our humanoid shapes.

I mean, the right is all about keeping their voters trained on immigrants and minorities while they give tax cuts to the rich and cut services to the middle class. The Democrats have been the only thing slowing that transfer of wealth down. So when you say the ruling class is keeping us divided left v. right instead of the ultra rich v. the rest of us, you need to understand that they are literally the same thing. Left v. right is the same as the rest of us v. the rich.

I used to believe left was much better. Perhaps.

But there are tons of money going around behind the scenes left or right. We're just none-the-wiser end user idiots.

Republicans and their appointed justices have on many occasions, not just the CU ruling, weakened regulations on how much money can be openly thrown at politicians, and just this year 100% legalized transparent bribery. Along the way, Democrats were forced to make a choice: fundraise or let Republicans take full permanent control of everything. What do you think they should have done differently?

That said, there are two broad types of political corruption:

1) Position yourself to make money when policies that are beneficial for society go into effect or flat out accept bribes to implement policies that are beneficial for society.
2) Position yourself to make money when policies that are detrimental for society go into effect or flat out accept bribes to implement policies that are detrimental for society.

I'd love for there to be no corruption. In the meantime, in the real world, I will vote for the former over the latter all day every day and twice on Sunday. Anyone trying to equate the two types as equally bad or evil is a fool (edit: a fool or positioned to make money when bad policy goes into effect).

The left doesn't exist in America.. center right is classified as far left.

If you really want a taste of left.. go to finland.
Full single payer healthcare.
Full education state paid.
Full unemployment benefits.

But they know they can't pay for everyone else.. so they limit it to Fins or you have to pay into the system.

No bullshit about migrants getting more benefits than citizens.

That's what I want here in America but it's a pipe dream..

I always liked using europe as a good example. But recently I realized...

Finland has a population of $5 million. That's the population and size of Alabama. USA pop is 333.3 million with a southern border where the entire southern nations try to migrate to USA daily.

I used to be so optimistic around Bernie time. The single payer just won't be implemented here. There is just too much money in PBM, managed care, and prescriptions. I don't see the droves of multi billion dollar companies disappearing (CVS, Cigna, OptumRx, etc).

I should know, I'm in healthcare development.

I cannot fathom how that could possibly be good for the human body. The water pressure alone would likely cause abrasions, callouses and scar tissue eventually, and that part of your body isn't really meant to have unprocessed material (read: whatever's in the water... that stuff isn't distilled) jostled around in it.

Feels more likely to cause colon cancer than prevent it.

The "left" didn't force out Bernie. Bernie lost the primaries, plain and simple. I voted for Bernie in the primaries but he still lost. The center-right Dem Party voters didn't vote for Bernie so he wasn't the Dem nominee. No conspiracy, just old boring politics.
