Myself, I use what works. I do use Apple products, IBM products, Intel, and AMD. All of which have research facilities in Israel.

Overpriced closed eco system.

I've bought Apple stuff before but Android since. Been happier with Android be it Samsung, LG or OnePlus.

I want to like OnePlus however it’s basically saying hello to Chinese spyware.
I’m an apple guy it just works and yes I know it still spies on me it’s just apple has a lot in the game to keep the spying within due bounds.

Too rich for me.

I bought a Samsung A54 last year for $449.. well $219 with a trade in. 6.4" screen, 5G, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, SD Card slot, unlocked.

Does everything I need it to and doesn't cost me over $1000+ unlike Apple.

100% why I am with apple on the phone. Only the phone. While privacy wise your’re still screwed you’re at least not dp’ed.

I mean my burner is android, but there is nothing of significance on there and its mostly powered off… Reminds me need to get a faraday pouch.

Btw with androids you can have both a sim and an esim.

But I guess if you're having an affair and don't want your wife to find out.. a burner is the smarter way to do things.

Noob, I buy refurb/white box a few models old and had a firm $200 max spend. I need to update that to $250 for next device. Refurb units from woot or black market work fine and typically last 2-3 years with a battery change at some point.

I try and get 5-7 years from mine rather than 3.

Feeling iPhones and other Apple devices are overpriced is valid. Though I'd argue the top of the line Samsungs are just as overpriced.

I do use an iPhone, but I try to get 3-4 years out of mine, and then look for the best trade-in deals possible to maximize the used value.

Yeah I don't mind anyone using iphones but sadly paying that premium price is how greedflation works.

I remember buying a 46" sony bravia HD 1080 tv in 2007 for $1600. However one can pick one up for $300 today.

But how come iphones are more and more expensive unlike TV's? Greedflation!

I don't like to feed into greedflation.. pisses me off!
