That phillips is "factory renewed"... In other words refurbished. I've heard nothing but BAD about Phillips refurb TVs.

same here. i got a refurb philips 30" hdtv tube and havent had any problems with it. however, for every good tv story, i've heard 2 bad stories. ymmv
