Great thread but the ea 500 and evga 7600gt combo with the discount code and combo discount came out to 125.82 on my invoice, and with $50 in rebates that's $75.82, not $81. That's so hot that I couldn't resist even though I don't even have a PCIe slot yet.

You're right! I didn't update that price after adding in the Newegg Newsletter code. The $81 price is from the HardOCP code, which resulted in the $5 difference. I'll update the OP. Thanks!

EDIT: Now that I think of it, I'm regretting not getting the combo. $41 for a 7600GT is pretty hot!

How fast is Antec with rebates? Form says within 12 weeks - 3 months, ouch. If it wasn't for the long MIR wait i'd be all over the 380W just because it is a good deal and I know I'll need something like that for a build or whatever.

EDIT: OOS...OOS...OOS! 🙁

Hot...Hot...Hot...

EA380 for $4.99 after $30 MIR with FREE shipping now!!!!

Go..Go...Go!!!

Step 5: Your order has shipped! 😀

(EA380 for $34.99 - 1% F@twallet Fatcash - 1.25% credit card - $30 MIR + $0.41 stamp) = 😀

i just picked up the ea380 for 43.99 - $30 rebate at buy.com with free shipping

link

not as good as 4.99 from newegg, but i was going to buy this yesterday for $20 AR, so its a half win situation.

it says stock is low though, so hurry up.

also, there is a 5% off click through coupon for buy.com out there that may or may not work.

Anyone have the newegg rebate form for the 380? They took it down and now I can't find it.

N/M...I found it here: Text

Still annoying that they removed the link, since it isn't exactly super quick for me to go looking through their site on shitty dial up.

Thanks Engineer. My wallet thanks you too. 😱 The rebate is different from the NSK4480B so anyone like myself who ordered one should be good for the other. $32 AR AC FS is pretty hot! Now, what am I going to do with all these cases I keep getting?

I learned long, long ago to PDF the product page and all the order process and grab the rebate the instant I order. Certainly saves trouble when an issue arises later.

Same with the rebate itself. I keep copies of everything. Surprising how when there is a problem getting a rebate and I offer to send my extensive copies they miraculously find it on their end.

I have at least two spare, unused power supplies sitting around (thanks to prior Antec deals). I have at least three computer cases sitting in my basement from old computers in various states of disassembly. I have absolutely no need for another PC in the house and am still recovering from year-end bills.

Yet I really want to get the Sonata III Engineer linked above.

I need to be restrained-or someone to give me a justification to leap on this deal.

Will you qualify for the upcoming tax rebate stimulus plan? If so, there's all the justification you need! 😀

Newegg hosts all the old rebates on this page

EA380 back in stock at $34.99 - $30 rebate. Go...go...go!!!!

😀

Edit: Oops...beaten to the punch! 😱

Edit: OOS for both the EA350 and the NSK4480 case.

EDIT: DEAD & OOS
I'm cross posting this from my own thread because I figured some people might be watching this thread. My apologies if I ruin anyone's day because they looked at this deal twice. 😛

Antec Mid tower case with Earthwatts 380 PSU

My out the door cost with shipping and tax was $73.28-$30.00 rebate=$43.28. Not as hot as some deals I've seen, but if you need something now, it's a fairly good deal.

Antec NSK4480B $29.99 after $30 MIR + shipping @ Zipzoomfly

Rebate expires 02/06/08

Specs from Antec

I bought the EA500 and the 7600GT combo (awesome price AR!) and I'm disappointed in one and extremely pleased with the other. The 7600GT is awesome for the $35 dollars I'll end up paying for it, but the EA500 makes a high-pitched whine AT ALL TIMES! This is mentioned by 2 reviewers on newegg. It's been a week and I'm thinking about returning it. 🙁

I haven't pulled it out of my P180 yet, but I will and if there isn't a "warranty void" sticker on the PSU case, I'll try disconnecting the fan to get rid of the whine. If that doesn't work, or there IS a warranty void sticker, It'll be RMA time.

Does anyone else with an EA500 have this problem...And maybe figured out what is making it?

Antec P182 Case is on sale at Newegg for $59.99 after $30 promo code discount (EMCACAHCC) and $50 rebate. Free shipping to boot. This deal is quite hot and is good for today only (24 hour sale).
