Console VS PC War!!

they're too different to really chose between them.

I like my PS2 for japanese RPG's and multiplayer games.

I like my PC for MMORPG's and real-time or turn-based strategy games.

I haven't been a PC gamer in 4-5 years. I used to be a hardcore PC gamer - did Quake 2, 3 - as in hours a day. Did clans, OGL, was one of the better HPB Q2CTF gamers.

During that time I had a N64, split my time with it. Then I stopped caring about PC's and generally focused on console gaming - Gamecube, XBox. Now I have 2 XBox's - I'm not a hardcore Live gamer by any means, but I do play most of my games on there. The only games I might consider playing on my PC now are Half Life 2.

I HATE consoles for games.

I love gaming on the PC. But then I am a geek 🙂

Consoles have one huge drawback: no mouse and keyboard. Plus they get old and are left by PC technology pretty quickly. And, its no fun to play a game in fron of the TV, sitting at a PC station is much more fun. Consoles are for kiddie games like Mario and Sonic.

Exactly.

If I have to choose one it's PC mainly because of the type of games I like to play (think Sims 2, Warcraft series, HL2). Having better graphics is also a bonus. But if I have friends coming over i prefer a console. Can't beat the fun of playing Mario Carts on N64. Lan Party doesn't count because it requires multiple computers.

Well the thing is most ppl probably have both PC and console anyway, it's not like they can't co-exist. Their games are quite different also, so why should there be a war between PC and console? There's only war between different consoles.

Consoles hands down. i haven't played PC games since i lived on campus like 3 years ago when I played CS.

I am all about xbox live right now. i wasn't really playing any games (console or pc) for about a year or so up until last september when i purchased xbox live. now i find myself probably logging onto xbox live every day.

i just enjoy the simple use of putting in a game in my xbox, sitting on my couch and playing halo 2 in 480p in WS on my 50" tv. nothing can beat that crap. not to mention i can play with my friends at my house AND with people online at the same time.

Why choose, when you can have all of them? 😀

<--------------OWNS BOTH

I choose because I don't want both. I have never played a game on a console that even tempted me into thinking about purchasing a console.

can't afford those 500 dollar video cards.
you don't need no 500 buck card, just throw in any average video card such as 16mb or 32mb and it will more then enough to blow you away!@#!#!@!@#!@q2398yr8sadfidpsaf
