Sounds like Nintendo flubbed the Wii controls for Mario Power Tennis (which I feared) while the controls for Pikmin were done very well.

I'm looking forward to giving Mad World a try and I'm wondering how RE5 is going to be received after the hubbub over the controls.

I'll get Resident Evil 5 (360) at Toys R Us since they have a gift card deal (best deal for the game I've seen so far). Thats about it for me.

Whoa, Samurai Shodown Anthology is going to make for some very happy gamers. I personally didn't like the series much, but some people are really in love with it.

RE5 im still iffy about and im waiting for a review on Madworld. Madworld might be the first Wii game i've purchased since Mariokart lol.

The RE5 demo locked up my PS3, I got as far as walking into a house and then watched a cutscene, and then I got a loading screen for a long time.

I've got a 60GB unit. I'll try it again tonight, I think, hopefully it was just a fluke.

Samurai Shodown 1 & 2 were amazing games.

3 & 4...not so much.

Samurai Shodown is the best fighting game series ever, IMO.

2 is the best, followed very closely by 5:special (which is NOT on the anthology disc; it is neo-geo only, and is significantly better than the original SS5).

4 is quite good, but i dont like the combo system...

Unfortunately, ive heard that the anthology collections are pretty poor. the emulation is just not up to snuff, particularly on the psp version (not that i'd want to even try to play a fighter on the psp d-pad).

I have them all. They aren't poor but you don't get many extras, if any, hence their very low price of $15 (especially on the PS2). I consider it a steal.
