They sure would be (I personally liked them) as people who play computer games are not even bothering to purchase CoD MW2 on ANY platform due to pc multiplayer and IW's "we could care less what you think" attitude.

I definitely won't be getting MW2 any time soon. Got bored of the multiplay after a month of it. I'll get it after it drops in price but seeing how expensive MW1 still was until a week ago I probably won't be getting this at all but no big loss. Still tons of other great games that are out.

I replied to the first responder in this thread acting like nothing else was coming out this week, when there are other titles that are interesting to people. Next week is what I am waiting for with Assassin's Creed 2 coming out along with GoW: Collection.

No. The 'problems' with the PC version just involve making the PC version more console like in that there's no dedicated servers, no mods, and no real tweaking of any kind. Read the huge thread over in that forum for all the info.

Not sure how this thread morphed from releases to a platform shouting match but give it a break...

I too am stoked for MW2. Checked yesterday and I'm at 9 days 17 hours of multiplayer time. Break that down into dollars per hour (and that's only in-match time, no in-menu or SP time) and I certainly got my money out of the first game.

I realized that new member of our forum hopeless74 is ranked #147 in the world for total kills on the 360...scary.

Depends on how busy your Wal Mart is and the overall # of players in your area.

You'll "probably' be alright but who knows. If it's a "MUST PLAY NOW!" for you I'd probably go tonight just to be safe.

There's 1 comment that mentions the PC issues. Where do you see whining? If you're referring to me, I mention PC because I'm terrible at FPS on consoles. I just can't do dual sticks. And I won't play multiplayer because I just don't have the time.

I would say so. Games this popular are usually hard to find the first week at major retailers. If you can't find it, try places that carry games but you normally wouldn't buy from... like Blockbuster, and even some 7-11s sell video games these days (call first).
