Console Light Gun Games?

I absolutely LOVE light gun games at the arcades. I recently ordered Time crisis for my playstation at home and a special adapter for my ancient tv. I know that theres another time crisis game coming out for psx, and 3 point blank games and one really bad game called maximum force. Are there any other light gun games for psx? And also.. do other recent systems have any lg games? I know that dreamcast has house of dead 2, but i dont really wanna buy a system just for one game.

I never understood how light gun games work. Like how does the console know where you're shooting at on the tv? 😕 Oh yeah, greatest light gun game of all time is Duck Hunt without a doubt. 😀 *bump* for bob

DC also has virtua cop 2..but im not sure if it available in the US to buy..like everyone else i downloaded it...errr but i do own a copy of it now "cough cough"😉

They basically work by tracking an image as a flash on the screen. You'll notice how duckhunt has a visible flash when you fire the gun. Later games are a bit faster and make the flash invisible to the eye. It may also be possible to take a picture of the screen and process a hit or miss.


This is why many games do not work on black and white TVs

The Point Blank series has to be among the greatest multiplayer games ever. It's so fun when you have a party over with 2 Guncons.

Confidential Mission just came out for the DC. It was very fun in the arcade, have no gotten a gun to try it at home.
