Star Ocean 3 looks interesting, I wonder how confusing it would be not having played 1 or 2?

Star Ocean: The Last Hope is supposed to be a prequel so probably not too confusing I would think.

If you're referring to SO:TLH, that's actually SO4. SO3 was Star Ocean: 'Till the End of Time, back over on the PS2. SO3 was not the most amazing game in the world, but it _is_ cheap if you want to go buy it from GameStop.

I've been playing the PSP remake of SO1, and I'm finding it pretty excellent. It has some of the usual "old RPG quirks" (back-tracking, bleh!), but I highly recommend giving it a try.

Still waiting for the XBLA version of Galactrix - wasn't impressed with the DS port of Puzzle Quest. (The PSP version, though, was pretty good.)

I'll be picking up Killzone 2 for sure. I'm interested in Star Ocean (never played the previous games though) but I'll get that during the slow summer months. Shoot..I have Tales of Vesperia and I barely played. I think I'll try to finish that up soon.


I'll think about that DS Ys game. It must be the millionth remake of the original but if I find this on the cheap (ie: 20 bucks) I may get it if reviews are positive.

The 50 Cent game looks like it might be a decent rental/bargain bin title to pick up for some co-op play.

I'm excited for Killzone 2 on Friday.
