Well, there may be an open spot for the PS4 or new XBox in my entertainment center. I think my original PS3 60GB is on its last leg after the latest round of updates. 🙁 Now after a short period of playing, it just shuts down completely. No red light, no nothing. I have to flip the power switch on the back to get it to come back on. Maybe this is Sony's way of getting me to buy their new console. Hmmmmm....
 
Sony has a rep for update killing ps3s. Then again if you have an original 60 GB your lucky its still going. Try to replace the TIM. Likely dried up by now.

Hmm, good suggestion. I'll give that a shot. It's just weird that it was working perfectly before the latest update, and then RIGHT after it I started having problems. I don't know, maybe just a coincidence.
