Console anyone?

I'm considering getting a new console, as my PS2 doesn't provide the graphics needed to satisfy my attention-whorish eyeballs. Plus, AI needs to be better for my football experience.

That being said, I'm hesitant to pick up a PS3/Xbox360. I know Xbox360 has been doing well, but I also realize that with more development time PS3 should start putting out some serious noise.

I'm considering picking up an Xbox to tide me over until I can choose a next-gen; articles I've read say that the graphics are better than the PS2. However, that can very likely be the fanboys crooning their hearts out.

If you're concerned with graphics, you have to go 360 or PS3. The XBox is only a VERY moderate upgrade in that department, and the gameplay of your Madden games won't be any different.

Agreed with Deeko that Xbox 360 is only a moderate improvement. Latter PS2 games often looked even better than most Xbox games because of the maturity of the platform and the enormous developer support for the platform.

I have a 360 and really like it...

Get a 360. My roommate has one and I've been playing it a lot lately (Halo 3) and it's pretty awesome.
