Hi all,
It's been a long time since I've used this site. It's nice to be back...
I am running a Dell Dinosaur Dimension 4600....2.66 GHZ, 4 GB RAM, 350W Power supply, 200 GB Maxtor HD (bought about 4 years ago and used for the first time 5 days ago), 120GB WD and 2 opticals.
I recently installed Windows 7 Pro 32bit (prior to that, I was using XP). I've spent 5 days dealing with BSODS and errors. Windows updates doesn't work unless I do them a few at a time, manually.
I would appreciate any help. Even if it means my motherboard controller is messed up (somebody suggested). Or could it be my PSU is not enough?
Last night, I thought it was the HD so I reinstalled Windows 7 today (yes, after going through all those updates)....but am still getting all the errors.
I have run memtest86 (no errors) but I didn't run it on each memory stick separately.
Thanks so much.
