consistency in overclockability on the venice?

well my 3200 lbble venice recently died and it was at 2.7 with stock air and 1.55 volts, this I liked. What are the odds I'll get another that can pull this? Is this not even impressive, my luck I'll get something that will poop out at 2.4 Let me know if you have any experiences with multiple venice core chips. thanks

1.55v isn't overkill for a Venice. How did you kill the CPU?

I've only used one Venice 3000+ and it topped out at 2.61ghz, but that was right when Venice first came out. I've heard they're doing a bit better now as far as clock speed. My guess is you'll probably get another 3200+ that will hit 2.7 with that ammount of voltage.
