Good playing with some of you guys last night, it was fun. I have learned that I've got some practicing to do, since I've been out of the loop for a few months.

I was pleased to see everyone having mid-20 pings last night, atleast the server is pretty fast 🙂.

BTW what effect does 66 vs 100 tickrate have? What is tickrate anyways?
I think that the tick rate has to do with how hits are registered and often it refreshes, stuff like that. I can't give you a definite defintion, because I'm not 100% sure myself. However, a 66-tick rate seems to be ideal for the size of the server I have going, so that's what it's set at.

Yep, the higher the tickrate the more accurate the registered hits are. For matches/scrims in any league (CAL, TWL etc.) you pretty much need a 10-12 man private 100tic server

Bump for a few who haven't seen this.

My current project for the site is to get either Psychostats or HLstatsX up and running. We'll see how it turns out. In the meantime, there are some basic stats on the page that should do in the interim.

I don't play on the other one (stickied here in ATOT) because guy refused to enable friendly fire. Don't be that guy!

That reminds me, I need to turn it on 😀. I prefer it on as well, it's only a part of playing smart.

Alright guys, a few changes for the server. Full, real-time stat tracking has been enabled. Any time there are people on the server, feel free to check the Google map on the server overview page to see pinpoints of where the current players are from.

I've also enabled team damage, so be careful with the nades. 🙂 Anybody up for putting some stats on the stats site?

I'll throw this back up incase a few more see it. I'd like to get some stats populated so it doesn't look so bare 🙂.

Let's try to set up a playtime tonight, say 9pm EST?
