Conservatives take any opportunity to what they think is a time to get back at liberals... Apparently superbowl is not an exception for them.

Sounds like Kendrick Lamar hit back at Trump though. The bad part is, Trump is like a suicide bomber. Will blow himself up just to own the libs, like when Obama hurt his feelers years ago at that White House correspondents thingie, that motivated Trump to run for president and screw the country just to show Obama.

Conservatives never miss a chance to attack anything black. They couldn't 'rap' their heads around the character played by Samuel L. Jackson was actually making fun of them.

Need I remind people the same Gaetz that trafficked in underage girls conservative thought was qualified for FBI director because of white boy DEI

I'm happy that I have no idea what this conglomeration of nonsense is about.
That is surprising..... the resentment that conservatives have against the KCs and Taylor Swift, does that ring a bell greeny?

I don't care about or follow either. I didn't know who was in the super bowl till yesterday, and while I did know Swift was dating a football player I had no idea he was playing.
That someone cares about who's banging Swift or what her political views are is an issue for them, not me.

All this is meaningless to me somewhat, I think it is to you, but I do know that no matter how irrelevant and altered reality it seems to you, I know you have been labeled on the wrong team, so you will be stereotyped and put in the box with all the right wing assholes that make an issue of whatever her name is, yes, that' s right, Taylor swift. All I know is that she sings, is popular, and is hated by the right wing. And since you believe in some old fashion conservative values that properly lived, make a whole lot of sense, you get to be tarred and feathered as if you were part of the deplorable crowd. You are dealing with people who's self image is partisan and full of contempt for anything different. It's natural to feel that way but natural and sane are not the same thing. Natural here means explainable as a product of self hate, not natural as part of who we would be free of conditioning.

The political party you support doesn’t GAF what you personally care about, cuz guess what…your peers care….and never miss an opportunity to attack others while simultaneously being the victims. But hey, you’re such an adorable deplorable, we don’t expect anything else from your dumb ass

Republicans never pass up an opportunity to diss anything black. Need to keep their boogeymen as dark as possible to maintain that level of right-wing white anxiety.

I'd consider myself pretty liberal and I wasn't a fan of it either. I just think what passes for rap today is largely garbage in comparison to older artists. The ghost of 2Pac's hologram would have been better.

This is my shocked face. Wait did Mr. Lamar grab at his crotch? Cuz we know that’s where certain high brow conservatives draw the line
But Kendrick also didn't traffic in underage girls or beat his girlfriends. Seems conservatives have different standards.

While of course the righteous assbeating the Eagles put down was great, it's pretty disturbing/sad how much of right wing media is angry a black guy performed at halftime.

I mean apparently this was unacceptable and way too radical a form of protest!

But this was fine and just people demonstrating!

Apologies if that's covered in the article, it's blocked in my region.

The fact that this bothers you is that racist fools have a need to damage others emotionally because they were deeply damaged as children themselves. They.are too ignorant to understand that their capacity to feeempsthy was beaten out of them. No ignorant racist will willingly not transmit his or her racism on to their children. Among racists only a racist is safe.

But you as a victim of this insanity also were scared growing up by being exposed to such vile contempt. This creates a need and desire to assert your equality.

But imagine visiting a world much like our own where self worth had nothing to do with skin color. On such a world people with different skin tones would be completely indifferent to color. On such a world an association like the NAACP would never exist and nobody would feel either superior or inferior about their own skin color.

On a world where intelligent life might navigate by echo location skin color would not exist as a concept. Humans are sick because they attach concepts with misery creating significance where none exists.

We can’t change the delusional nature of others. Can we change ourselves. Can we personally transcend the damage done to us by prejudice? I was told we can by someone who looked to me to manifest it.

The only part of that I would question is "self hate", it seems to me that it's all pretty much aimed at others. I don't really have an issue with that. The idiots that can't express an opinion without a personal insult I ignore as they have nothing to add to the discussion. Pretty much everything else is tribalism, impotent anger, and the need for vindication. Maybe that is self hate, I sure as hell don't know.

I would ask these questions: Why do we have a tribal instinct and shouldn't knowing the answer change everything but doesn't. In other words why do we hold to that need. I would ask regarding anger, what need does it serve. What is it's purpose? Is it rational? On vindication, why do we seek it? What meed do we hope it will fill. Does it fill that need when we pay back in kind?

Now think about what we would be like of we hated ourselves because we were made to feel bad about ourselves as children. We would be angry, would we not, for being made to feel that way, angry at those who put us down, but also terrified to let then know it, our parents upon whom we needed to survive, being totally dependent as children? Right there we have the source of impotent anger and the desire for vengeance, seems to me. And as for tribalism, isn't it a survival thing profoundly important back in the Pleistocene? Recognizing your tribe, differentiating yourself and your people from others so you knew friend from foe would have been the difference between life and death. But without the need for outside genetic material, tribes would collect fatal genes that would more easily express when recessive. So we need also a facility for being liberal to survive. Nobody likes the feeling of fear and isolation from others insures we don't feel any fear of them, but it also leads to genetic homogeneity and decline. Today, fear of others is irrational because the world is full of other people and you can't move your tribe easily via nomadic drift to uninhabited places. Today, tribalism is irrational and does not serve its original purpose. People don't change easily. The more you fear, the angrier you are at the world, the more fearful you are. And what we fear most is being thought of as inferior because we were, as I said, made to doubt our worth which means also, doubting our capacity to change. So we don't think, we don't question, we don't look at ourselves, and by that means we stay ignorant of the need to change to survive. That's how I see it anyway.
