I'm simply amazed how quickly Trump managed to find and signup that many f'nuts in a few weeks. It puts six degrees of Kevin Bacon to shame.
 
The best line in that article is “You might not like what he says, but he’s honest.”
That shows just how unreachable these idiots are. They think the man who lies more frequently than any other politician in American history is honest. You can educate the ignorant, but you can't fix stupid.
 
I thought this was another telling bit:

Word is Mike Pence was in those meetings when Trump decided to fire Comey. He's just as complicit. He was spreading the Comey was fired because of what he did to Hillary fertilizer all around knowing it was a lie. He wasn't duped.
 
I believe a tipping point will be reached when the average conservative brain, out of a shear mental exhaustion at the exercise of the self demeaning antics one must resort to on a continual basis to prop up the illusion that the Emperor Trump is regally dressed will cause such self loathing that they will no longer feel it's worth it. If that happens they will turn on him with knives as punishment for their wounded pride.

There is a limit to how much shit a person will ear for the team, and Trump is asking conservatives to eat quit a number every day.

One of the greatest illusions politicians treasure is that of pompous dignity. Trump's call to his party is, 'here piggy piggy, we're selling this bowl of slop today'.

@Moonbeam: you overestimate his base. They are insane. They are not capable of rational thought. When he said he could shoot someone in broad daylight on 5th Avenue and get away with it? He was right. These people are not fully functioning humans any longer. So what do we do about it?
