Maybe Lee could sing "God Bless Canada"? I mean, he was SO filled with patriotic fervor to write the schmaltzy piece of crap "God Bless the USA" that he gladly took the $$ (or should I say Loonies) to change a bunch of the words for a Canadian version.

The TP Halftime vs NFL Halftime reminds me of the RNC vs DNC nominating conventions.

One of them was boring AF. The other was like a damn party.

TPhalftime is going to be the most boring, white-people shit ever. I haven't heard any of Bad Bunny's music. But I can guarantee it's more interesting than Lee fucking Greenwood. I hate his song with a goddamn passion.

My girlfriend loves making up Pearl jam lyrics because Vedder is so hard to understand.

somehow "a pillow made of concrete" turns into "a bowl of cornflakes" and I just smile and shake my head 😂

Hell, I still turn to another channel or turn the sound down when the Fat Lady song is sung during the 7th inning stretch. I'm still pissed at MLB. On the other hand, GO MARINERs!

I recall Ronnie Reagan's Interior Sec. James Watt banning, of all people, the Beach Boys from performing at the Independence Day celebrations because they "attracted the wrong element". Seems like we're going full circle on this ridiculous throwback attempt at reviving "traditional Christian values" that has all the odor of the present day White Christian Nationalist push for gov't sponsorship.

With Trump as their father figure and role model to emulate, it's no small wonder why being obnoxiously racist is a pre-qualifier for the up and coming political operatives of the Republican party. By his example and enabling, Trump turned them loose out of their cages and look at what's happened to our nation ever since.

If anything, Trump has revealed that there are millions of racists looking for him to "right some wrongs" and "put things straight" where even the most illiterate dumbfuck white person is still far superior to the likes of Barak Obama, MLK, the list goes on.

How deep these insecurities and the hate and fear it produces in people like that will always be a mystery to me. Feeling put down, endangered and inferior? Why all you need to do is cover yerself in a white sheet and shuck a white cone attached to a mask on yer head and there ya go, yer now the "tip of the spear, edge of the knife, crack of my ass".
