Hopefully the Democrats will take your advice and propose raising the debt limit to 1,000,000 trillion. Then we'll never again have to argue over raising it so all our problems will be solved.
 
I just don't understand how people keep clinging to the ideaology of either party. Both are relics of a time gone by and don't even adhere to their own ideaology, yet millions of people follow their ideaology as gospel. Very wierd that in a free society people cannot freely think for themselves and instead let others do it for them, increasingly wierd when those people that do it for them don't even believe what they are saying...lol

No wonder the rich and powerful don't give a shit about this country.

Beyond just citing the messenger, the mind bending logic in blaming one side for an impasse that both sides were a part of is amazing. Even more amazing is blaming one side for the credit rating downgrade that is the result of decades of political decisions from both parties.

I'd give it a 7.7 on the DT complete fail-o-meter.

Conservatives cost the country 1.3 billion dollars. You claim this is proof that Conservatives don't give two shits about reducing the country's thirteen hundred billion dollar deficit for this year alone.

That's great. Gosh, that could've cut the deficit by .1%.

Lets not forget the Liberals temper tantrum when the Republican were trying to cut $66 Billion off Obama's budget. We had to settle on $33 so that means Liberals cost us $33 Billion.

Lot of truth to that, that each party cares about the deficit only when they aren't in power controlling the spending. But at some point government HAS to be reined in. Debt near or in excess of of GDP, when it's not over a singularity like a World War, in far past insane.

I too have little faith that if the Pubbies control both chambers and the White House they'll retain their fervor for cutting, but they remain marginally better than the Dems.
