Spicer was literally slamming Nordstrom at the White House briefing, aka official rep of the highest office of the executive branch.

There's absolutely nothing these types won't defend til the end.

He's lawful neutral, it's okay. Takes all types to make the world go 'round.

You do realize that once you call yourself or someone else a conservative or liberal, you can not solve any problem?

By identifying yourself or someone else with a label, your automatically at conflict and thus the cooperation ends. No matter how great the intentions.

It's great how the world gets to see our president. He sets a great example for all the world leaders to follow.

It's quite helpful when the problem is conservatism, which by definition clashes with modern civilization.

It's inappropriate in today's era but not unprecedented for a president (e.g, if this was Harry Truman, he not only would have called out Nordstrom, but then would have threatened to punch their CEO in the face to boot). As a self-admitted right-wing extremist that didn't vote for Trump because he wasn't the right kind of conservative for me, this is the kind of thing that bothers me the least about Trump. If anything I hope he just picks better targets in the future (e.g. pharma companies). If Obama or Clinton had done it the initial shock factor may have been greater, but only because Trump has such a long history of being an egomaniac and sleazeball.

There's a difference between calling out pharma companies in general as a matter of public policy (i.e. increasing prescription prices to unaffordable levels for your average american) and calling out specific companies that don't want to do business with your family anymore and using the presidential bully pulpit to call them out.

IMO if a person has a personal and a business account, and starts using one for the purpose of the other, they're not longer "personal" or "business" accounts.

Why and how are you a right wing extremist?

I thought you said you were a libertarian?

Those who are Libertarian are derided as right wing extremists and/or anarchists.
The Bush clan is considered mainstream and "acceptable" GOP. Along with McCain and Romney.
Libertarians would have opposed all those men.

Monica wasn't a willing and consenting sexual partner? She says that she was.

EDIT: Is this some of that 'fake news' I've been hearing about? Tsk, tsk. Shame on you.
So do you think-

Sorry, that was mean. So do you feel that Cathleen Willey was also willing?

The President is so powerful that no account he uses can truly be personal. Thus he should avoid personal conflicts and interests altogether. It's unfortunate that in today's world politics is so pervasive and virulent that one is punished for association, but sometimes even the President needs to take one for the team. If Nordstrom decides to drop his daughter's products - for whatever reason seems sufficient for Nordstrom management - then Trump needs to stay the fuck out of it, period.

I don't find it particularly scandalous, but it's demeaning to the office and to Trump himself.

I agree, but that would mean dropping his ego for becoming a public servant, something Trump has not proven capable of.

The real deal is that libertarians are neither Democrat or Republicans, left-wing or right-wing, no matter what other ideologies might want to think. Right wing extremists are those like Fascism, Neoreactionaries, Christian Fundamentalists, Alt Right, Paleoconservatives, at least those that are like Pat Buchanan, etc.

Theres been a very basic and clear chart thats been around for decades, those who misrepresent libertarianism have only themselves to blame.
