If you got this: "Basically, what this guy is saying is, when Dems are hypocrites it was bad. But now that Bush and co. are showing their hypocritical ways, suddenly hypocrisy is not only not bad, but it is undefinable!!!", then you must have failed English miserably.
All that article is doing is pointing out examples of hypocrisy IN BOTH LIBERALS AND CONSERVATIVES. It isn't a conservative spin. It is simply saying, yep, Bush is a hypocrite, and so are journalists and all others who say he's a hypocrite, so what's their point?
Politicians have always been that way, and will continue to be that way. Then it continues on and gives examples to back up what it's saying.
And you must have missed this part: "So is Bush a hypocrite for wanting to ban a legal and accepted practice he -and thousands of others -benefited from? Of course. But you still need to explain why that's bad. "
Yep, that compares with Clinton, alright. That's just as bad as lying under oath.
