It's pretty much the exact same thing as the Anandtech results.
He says that the Conroe is about 20% faster than the AMD, and the results come in as 280fps for the Conroe in the Quake benchmark and 201fps for the AMD @ 2.8 GHz . He says the AMD should be scoring around 220fps in the test but it's running too hot (which sounds like BS to me).
The systems are set at the best settings possible, eg. the Conroe is at 2.66 GHz, 4-4-4-4 timings, 2-2-2-2 timings (I think he means 4-4-4 and 2-2-2).
The (Intel) architecture is just starting out and we're going to continue to tweak it. The 20% increase in Quake is the most conservative estimate we have; other games show a bigger improvement.
