I ran into the upcoming RD600 motherboard preview @tweaktown.com, and found the following tidbit.
Is this true? If so, it's a great news since the NForce500 series' FSB overclocking is rumoured to be inferior to that of P965/975X. SLI users wouldn't be forced to choose NForce board.
http://www.tweaktown.com/articles/931/5/page_5_final_thoughts/index.htmlIntel has recently teamed up with nVidia (or visa-versa) to allow users to officially run SLI dual graphics on Intel 975X based motherboards which might be a result of the internals testing?s of the RD600 platform or maybe purely just a reaction to AMD and ATI?s news. Nevertheless, things are starting to heat up and it?s a good time to be a consumer.
