Conroe postponed by 5 days

it seems that Intel has delayed its Core 2 Duo chips to July 28, 2006...no big deal but for those who are impatiently waiting for Conroe, not a very good news...

The launch never was on July 23. That's a Sunday!!

A major launch like this will be on a business day.

To my knowledge Intel hasn't publicly announced a specific launch date. All they're saying is July.

Right on more like Aug 5th and then get ready for gouging by screwegg....reasonably priced conroes may not happen until Sept...

I cant say I have seen any that high, but to be honest and fair when you do a cpu review you want lower resolutions to insure you are not gpu limited....

I think in some of the newer titles at those resolutions, were we not already gpu limited?? I think you are going to have to wait for more SLI and crossfire reviews to see that...
