Conroe motherboard?

What board would you recommend for a Core 2 Duo setup? My needs are basically dual PCI-E and DDR2 800 support (although the latter isn't needed but it would be very nice to support faster RAM). Since the NF5xx boards aren't out yet for Intel, the only ones I have had a chance to look at are the 975 chipsets, and they look to be pretty expensive ($200+). Will the NF5 (probably 570) Intel be more around the price of their AMD counterparts (roughly $150), and when will they be out? Thanks.

Personally I'm not too thrilled about any of the Conroe ready mobos. They all got some issues that keeps me from reccomending them. I'd wait a bit for better mobos to hit the market. But thats just me. In August we should see some better products.

The boards that are out dont fit what i need, i might just get an assrock and wait for a better mobo to come out rather than shell out $250+ for a mobo that is lacking what i want.

What did you want from it that it's lacking?

I'm also looking into a conroe, so hopefully there will be more choices in the near future.

I want a mobo with dual lan, no sli, better placement for a single ide (asus' board is a joke), less than $200, good overclocking, no onboard sound (yes i know im wishing upon a star), replaceable cooling for the northbridge...

The first 5 are important, the rest is no big deal.

The P5W DH has dual lan + wi fi. OC's good up to 400FSB but after that the jury is still out. The NB heatsink is replaceable and I don't see what the problem is with the IDE connector. The ICH7 IDE is right by the PSU connector. If you want to see a bad IDE connector look at the Abit AW9!!

Onboard sound is great but it can be disabled in BIOS.

Ok it's over $200. (mine cost $235 at ewiz)
