my brother for reason that are unknown disabled the LAN Connection. I currently have a RP114 Router running on 3 computers. Prior the to disable, it was working fine. I have took steps in trouble-shooting.

1. I changed the IP address to fit that of the router port. IE, 192.168.0.X
2. I "ipconfig" the other comps to determine that i am indeed using the right IP
3. Network Share Folders appear and i can access data from other comps, but still no Internet.
4. Re-created a Home Network, thru network connection and thru Internet Explorer.

i'm thinking its an adapter malifunction, but it was working fine just minutes b4 he disabled it. Any advice?

You didn't mentioned re-enabling it, but I am sure you did that first. Make sure your subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 and the default gateway is the routers internal IP address.
Perform a tracert of an internet ip address and see where it is hanging up.
