Connection keeps going on and off

Hi, I recently got a router for my home, and it is connected to three computers and a wireless laptop via a cable modem. The connection is fine for all of the computers except for my desktop, where it comes and goes every so often.

Could there be something wrong with my lan card? I have some linksys card.
The router is also linksys if that helps.

Do a search on this board for similar problems; It sounds like either the power management features on you NIC are shutting it down or you need to check/uncheck something in your network connections. Simlar problems have been discussed a lot on here.
