I work at a non-profit and mid last week our internet connection started flaking out. We are using a netopia R7100C. We have 2 windows 2k servers acting as dns. We have a linux box acting as a squid proxy.
Basically from 8 am until roughly 10:30 the internet connection is fine, and then people start recieving "Connection Failed", the system returned (101) "Network is unreachable." Until about 3:30 or so and then the connection works fine. We get this error wether a proxy is used or not. There are I believe 2 more errors we recieve all dealing with network connection problems. If the dsl router is rebooted the connection works for a varying amount of time, anywhere from 2 min to an hour before crapping out again. We have tried replacing the dsl box. We have made no major changes to network or added any other devices that would prompt these errors.
Anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this ?
