connection dies

ok, i have cable, and three computer sharing this connection through a netgear rt314. It used to work fine, but now the connectin dies with about 20 min of use. The only thing i can get to work when it is dead is AOL instant messenger.
if i power down the rt314 and the modem, then power back up, my connection will be fine, then crap out again.

anyone got any ideas?

 
This seems to be becoming a trend. Check out this thread. Several of us are having this trouble, but we don't seem to have a solution yet. I know I'm still waiting.
