Connecting two routers together

Dear Fellows,

I came across these message boards doing some extensive web searching to try to find a solution for my particular application. The problem, it seems, is my inability to be able to decipher the difference between a bridge, access point, extender, powerline, etc. I'm a relative newb when it comes to networking terms but I'm tech savvy enough to be able to work through things.

Because I'm unfamiliar with the terminology with what I'm trying to do: I thought it would be wiser if I draw a diagram of what I'm trying to do! Please follow the link and allow me to explain.

Okay so I have two locations that are within reach of wireless connections to one another. The landluber house #1 on the left, has a DLink DIR-615 with dlink firmware installed on it. The cable internet modem connects to this DLink router and thusly gives me access to the wonderful world away from cable eating sharks in the water!

The second house has no internetz!! It's a sad panda. I need a way to connect my WRT54G router of ultimate doom with Tomato firmware to the DLink, such that the DLink router could then give me intenets! The airwaves are going to act like the "CAT5 cable." I'm not sure what you would call this setup? Is this setup access point or bridge? I'm not sure.

I want the linksys router to act like a regular router, only instead of getting internet connection through the WAN port, I want it to get internet wirelessly. What would you call this setup, and where can I begin looking for how to solve this problem.

IF YOU DIDN'T NOTICE FROM THE PICTURE, PUTTING IN PHYSICAL CABLE IS IMPOSSIBLE BECAUSE GANDOLF THE CABLE EATING SHARK WILL EAT IT!

You want to configure you linksys as a wireless bridge. I've done it with DDWRT but I suspect it should be as straight forward with tomato.

I think Tomato calls it "Wireless Ethernet Bridge" mode. They have a video for setting up the similar "Wireless Client" mode.
