Connecting TV to Wifi

Someone I know wants to connect their TV to their wireless router so they can watch ESPN3. Do they just need to get a USB wireless adapter like you would for a computer, or does it have to be some kind of special device? THanks.

Depends on what the TV accepts. Most of them have their own proprietary( read expensive) wireless adapters. If the TV has an ethernet port, u can just get an old router, get it set-up as a bridge or repeater and then ur good to go.
