I switched on my cpu when there was a low voltage due to gusty winds.. And it got turned off. Now when voltage is fine whenever i am connecting cpu to power socket/board, there is a spark on the rear of cabinet and it is triggering safety switch on my main switch to go off automatically and entire power supply to house is stopped. Tried connecting to different wall socket, but same thing occurs.
What's the issue?

Sounds to me like you have a short, possibly the power supply has failed.

So If i disconnect smps from every component and try switching on the smps and see if the same things happen again, is it all right? I could then be sure that it's the smps only.
Could it be a fault not related to pc, say on the supply side? But other appliances from the same wall socket are working fine.
