My dad just bought a new Desktop computer for himself and we need to find a way to get that PC internet. My options are to get a Wireless N adapter to receive signal from my Router and just use that.
However, I was thinking if a better option is to get a another Wireless N router (Buffalo WHR-G300N or Asus RT-N12) and set it to receive signal from my main router. Then will I be able to use the ports on the second router to get my Dads computer access to internet? That router is DD-WRT capable and I will flash it to DD-WRT (again it would be a first). Lol, yes I know I am a newb but never really had the need for a alternate firmware so never bothered.
Please let me know if this is possible and what would be a better option between the two. Thank You.
