Connected the L1 Bridges on the duron and no luck !!!!!!!!!

I connected the L1 bridges on my duron and changed it in the bios but it still goes back to default multiplier ? what's up with that?

This is on a duron 650 ... on a MSI K7T Pro2

I used a randomly chosen pencil to unlock my Duron 800. It worked. You may have chosen the wrong pencil. Some work much better than others according to the experts. This only applies if you used a pencil to attempt to unlock the processor.

Clean it up and try again?

I can now run my Duron at a mind blowing 866mhz with a 133mhz FSB. :beer:😀

I used the smae pencil I used when I connect the bridges (l3/l4/l5) on the duron 950 and it worked...
Now I have a different board and would like to try the L1 pencil trick before I decide to cut the L3/...etc bridges by the voltage mod.
