Maybe tigerdirect carries a lotta refurbs or something. Looks like they got a refurb version with an "R" and a real retail version without the "R" selling for $70 more, but then there's another version going for even more with the "R"...

I got in on that X800XT/X800Pro TD mishap last week, they changed the website showing the card as a X800Pro after i had ordered it as a X800XT @$250. I couldn't cancel, but to my suprise a X800XT came in after all.

Well the order number did have an R at the end, and the sticker closing the static bag holding the card, had clearly been opened previously and the box was a little banged up.

the card looks brand spanking new and i've had zero problems with it, works like a dream... just thought i'd let ya'll know

that's the right UPC.
why would it not work ?
It probably cut the 8 off the front area and the 2 in the back
 
Doesnt look refurbed at all....

WTF!! I just looked at it again.. and in the upper left hand side of the card a capacitor is totally disconnected from the board. .. Back to TD for a god DAMN RMA

Wow god damn tiger direct hold... Theres no music... just an anoying little bich yelling about how spyware can own you.. and also some shi7about printer ink... GAY

Is it hanging by a thread or is it dislogdged in your box somewhere?
 
Its dislogded.... but I know where it is and included it.. I know I probably could have soldered it back on but

Yes it is... Waited about 30 mins to get on the phone with some guy for my RMA number... took him like 10 mins to find my damn order.... GODDDD...

O well, he "upgraded me to second day mail"
 
Diff company buddy... There is a sale on connect3d... even at newegg and all other sites, there is no x850xtpe that is <350

Also, if you look...there is a TWO YEAR WARRANTY (12 months = 1 years... 24 months = 2 year) In all stupidity would there be a 2 year warranty on something used???
 
My card came in a white box, exactly as pictured. The UPC matches as well. The card was in a newly sealed anti static bag and it looked to be brand new. The card was beeped to me twice while playing bf2, something my old x850xt pe never did(power issues?). I'll do some further testing when I get home from work today.

very odd.

At labs.anandtech.com it doesn't list it as OEM or Retail.

Well, you can always get it for 399 from newegg.
 
It seems to be a temperature issue, that might be related to the 5.6 drivers I am using. I'll update to 5.7 and see if that helps.

my update: So tigerdirect charged me another 350 and they 2dayed it to my house.. I should get it tommorow, then when they get my broken one they better take the charges off..

Got mine. Also in white box with UPC printed on a white label. card looks good w/intact capacitors.
